Paul Goeglein, a native of Alexandria, Virginia, USA, is an oboist, performer, and teacher in the Greater Toronto Area. He is a member of the Summerhill Orchestra where he plays Principal Oboe and plays Second Oboe and English Horn with the Guelph Symphony. Having performed with symphonies from Kitchener-Waterloo to Timmins and as a part of Stratford Summer Music, Paul is happy to now call Ontario home.
A graduate of the Glenn Gould School, he moved to Toronto after completing a Bachelor’s Degree at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
Paul enjoys performing a diverse array of music. He attended two summers at the Miami Classical Music Festival as an Opera Fellow, recorded a solo-soundtrack with Emmy-Nominated director Joseph Krakora, and is a current member of the Contemporary Music Ensemble at University of Toronto.
His teachers include Sarah Jeffrey, Linda Strommen, Jamie Roberts, and Elizabeth Schaefer.
