An award-winning chamber musician, violist Caitlin Boyle has toured and performed extensively throughout North America and Europe. As a member of the Cecilia String Quartet from 2006-2018, she received first prize at the Banff International String Quartet Competition, as well as being awarded prizes in the Bordeaux and Osaka String Quartet competitions.
She is currently the violist with the Isabel String Quartet, quartet-in-residence at Queen’s University. A passionate music educator, Ms. Boyle teaches at the Hamilton Suzuki School of Music, with the Hamilton Music Collective, and privately out of her home in Hamilton.
She has performed with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Canadian Opera Company, the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, and now holds positions with the Niagara Symphony Orchestra.
Ms. Boyle earned her Doctorate in Performance from the University of Toronto in 2015.
