Beata Csuka was born in Budapest, Hungary. She started playing cello at age of six. After completing a music high school diploma, she attended the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy from where she graduated. Following this, Beata played in the orchestra "Concerto Budapest" for almost 20 years and toured all over Europe.
She came to Canada in the year 2000. She currently plays in 3 orchestras as a principal cellist- Oakville Chamber Orchestra, Masterworks of Oakville and Rose Orchestra Brampton - and works at the Remenyi House of Music as a string specialist.
To this day, Beata plays the same cello that she first acquired when she was 13 years old. When she has free time she likes to read, cook and travel.
